Teacher Training
Our teacher training is designed to educate, empower and engage school staff with the reality of children’s digital lives. It combines current research, lived examples, and practical advice.
Sessions also include updates on the latest digital trends, emerging risks, and platform features helping staff stay informed in an everchanging online environment.
Training covers:
The 4 C’s of Online Risk: Content, Contact, Conduct, and Commerce and how they manifest in schools
Children’s digital habits, platforms they use (YouTube, TikTok, Roblox, Discord, etc.) and hidden features that carry risk (e.g. geolocation, ghost mode, disappearing content)
Gendered experiences of harm. How boys and girls face different pressures online
Impact of algorithms, “online silos”, and selfworth tied to likes, views, and shares
Exposure to inappropriate or harmful content, including sexual, violent, and radicalising material
Online grooming and exploitation (CSE, CCE), sextortion, and realworld risks
Understanding the Metaverse, online gaming, and evolving platforms like Roblox
Why children don’t report harm and what staff can do to create safe, open conversations
Each session includes time for Q&A, realworld case studies, and clear actions staff can take immediately to support safer online behaviours in pupils.
